Land of the Giants

Mary Lynn Bennett unknowingly carries the DNA of a people from an ancient era. The tall red-head learned to cope with oddities the genome produced, such as seeing the aura that surrounds every living thing and detecting their mood by specific vivid colors. She inherited a rare RH negative blood type from her mother who lost a child because of it, or so everyone thinks.

The weirdness made life difficult, but thanks to her mother’s encouragement and her best friend Harry’s loyal comradery, she graduates from rebellious teenager to gifted nurse. Her mother is kidnapped and presumed killed when Mary Lynn is nineteen. Making life more difficult, her father and brother leave her to deal with the aftermath. When she too is kidnapped seven years later, Harry and an FBI agent travel to Bhutan when clues lead them to the mystical country located in the Himalayas.
